The true history of Corn ( maize ) in the ” Old World ” before Columbus. Before 1570 everyone in Europe and that side of the world did not say Corn came from America or Columbus. It was generally agreed that it entered through Asia. Such names as: Turkish Corn, Tall Wheat, Welsh Corn, Indian Corn, Misr corn, Etc… were used for corn before columbus. See how America was known as the far East Asia and the farthest India part of the three Indias, ( west Indies).
