Revelation 1 to 19 happened in the first century: The stinging “scorpions” (Revelation 9:10)

The modern-day church has been led to believe that this locust-like description points to a future event involving either literal demonic insects or perhaps attack helicopters or fighter jets. However, these “scorpions with stings in their tails” were actually the catapults used by Roman armies during the fall of Jerusalem (or the 42-month great tribulation) from 66–70AD.
