NOTE: Regarding Acts 19, there were two separate occurrences of Paul experiencing rejection. In Acts 19:8-10, Luke tells us the people rejected « the Way. » This was non-specific and speaks of Paul’s teachings in general. Later, beginning at Acts 19:23, Luke tells of a man named Demetrius who complained about « the Way » AS IT PERTAINS TO IDOLS. Demetrius was only concerned about this because it was his source of income.
